Drop in at the Isle of Arran Gin Co Beach House at Cladach, where you can see, smell and perhaps play with the botanicals! 1200 Depart Cladach and head back towards Brodick, then take the B880 String Road to Blackwaterfoot. 1230 Lunch at Kinloch Hotel. The hotel has been in the Crawford family since the 1950s, and offers a super family welcome. Recently refurbished the hotel offers stunning views across Kilbannan Sound to Kintyre. 1400 Depart Blackwaterfoot and take C147 for Lagg Distillery. Independently owned, this new distillery from isle of Arran Distillers offers a contemporary feel, with the same excellent attention to detail that can be experienced at the sister distillery in Lochranza, and is not to be missed! This is the home of the peated Arran malt. 1515 Leave Lagg Distillery behind as you travel North East towards Brodick on the A841. Take the road down into Kildonan to get a closer look at the Island of Pladda, and maybe catch some seals basking! 1550 Arrive Lamlash. View Arran Clearances monument and explore the village. Visit the COAST Marine Interpretation Centre, Arran’s marine hub, with touch tanks and enjoy views to Holy Isle 1700 Arrive back in Brodick, and ….relax!
