In his fi rst season on the coast, McGrath piloted the Seahawks to an 11-21 record and sixth place fi nish in the Colonial Athletic Association, fashioning an 8-5 home mark and reaching the semifi nals of the CAA Tournament. A native of Indianapolis, McGrath, 42, spent 14 seasons with Hall of Fame Coach Roy Williams at North Carolina. He lettered four years as a point guard under Wil- liams at Kansas and served on his staff in Lawrence for four years before moving with his mentor to the Tar Heel state.
