NEWFOUNDLAND 2013 SHORT REPORT Argentina – Paraguay – Uruguay As we are still slowly grinding through Perseus files from 2013, we decided to collect perhaps the most unusual receptions from South America, which were the logs from Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Argentina was a thrill as 48 stations have been confirmed so far. Highlights included 780 R. Tres, Trelew which is just outside of Rawson. It is in Chubut province so qualifies as Patagonia. It’s the southernmost Argentinan we have received. Other notable receptions include AM 1020 and R. Mailin, 1330. With this many total receptions, there were plenty of other first time receptions that were memorable. Uruguay was special also. 610, 1120, 1290 and 1450 were big surprises. Paraguay didn’t provide a lot of new logs but Monumental 1080 often dominated the channel. To impress you visually, here is a map of the Argentina recpetions.
