The first editionwas published September, 1966, and was funded through FederalGrant CEG-1-661374-0992, Title III,Elementary- Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( PL 89-10).The second edition was funded partly under the same Federal Grant; and publicationcosts were provided by the Rhode Island Foundation. The third editionwas funded partly through Federal Grant CEG -1-7-673040- 2874, Title III, ESEA 1965 (PL 89-10);and duplication of the compilation was done by various organizations. This fourth editionwas funded partly by the same Federal Grant; and duplication was done by the staff ofProject ARISE.
