JULIE GLAZE HOULIHAN Music Supervisor A music supervisor since 1998, Julie began editing her song pitches to picture, and developed into an MPEG Music Editor by 2011. She often performs both jobs on a project, but also enjoys collaborating in one role or the other. Recent projects include A.P. Bio (NBC), The Real O’Neals (ABC), Santa Clarita Diet (Netflix), Last Black Man in San Francisco (A24/Plan B), Homeroom (Hulu) and music documentaries Hired Gun, OJ: Made in America, and The Wrecking Crew. Julie began her film music career as a music assistant at New Line Cinema (Seven, Set It Off, Friday, Dumb & Dumber), and also worked in creative roles at MCA/Universal Music Publishing and Warner Bros. Television. She has broad experience with on-camera performances, pre-records, Union issues, clearance, budgeting, mixing, ProTools and post-production. Julie is a founding member of The Guild of Music Supervisors. Professional affiliations include Motion Picture Editors Guild, The Television Academy, and SAG. She leads the parent group for Jazz at Hamilton High School Academy of Music & Performing Arts (AMPA) and served six years as President of the board for Walter Reed Middle School’s music program, both LAUSD schools.
