Parks & Outdoor Recreation Network CITY OF PARRAMATTA Parks & Outdoor Recreation Network Parks and outdoor recreation facilities support our community to live healthy, active lives. Our parks are places where people can access formal and informal recreation opportunities, relax, exercise, play and enjoy our natural heritage. These facilities create opportunities for people to make connections with one another, to enjoy being in nature and to escape from the built environment, especially in a growing city. They also provide habitat for wildlife, improve air quality and help protect from the community from the impacts of climate change. 480 City of Parramatta Parks & Outdoor Recreation Network Community Infrastructure Strategy 2019 481 Parks & Outdoor Recreation Network About Council's Park Classification Neighbourhood Parks Local Parks District Parks Serves the immediate Serves a neighbourhood.
