PRESS RELEASE Do Not Release until Date: Contact for Questions: November 5, 2014 at 10:00PM Teresa Stas, Marketing Manager 541-730-2907 cell OREGON JAMBOREE ANNOUNCES TWO ADDITIONAL ACTS FOR 2015 THOMAS RHETT AND LEE BRICE JOIN THE 2015 LINEUP Sweet Home, OR – The Oregon Jamboree, presented by South Pacific Auto Sales, announced on their Facebook page Wednesday during the CMA Awards that Nominees Lee Brice and Thomas Rhett will be joining the 2015 festival lineup. Initially garnering attention as a gifted songwriter, Thomas Rhett’s credits include the two-week #1 “Round Here” (Florida Georgia Line), Top 15 smash “1994” (Jason Aldean) and “Parking Lot Party" (Lee Brice). He made a smash transition into talented artist with his first chart-topper, the PLATINUM-certified “It Goes Like This,” whose three-week run on the Billboard Country Singles chart tied the record Miranda Lambert set with "The House That Built Me.” The Valdosta, GA native’s debut album IT GOES LIKE THIS also produced his second consecutive PLATINUM-certified #1, “Get Me Some Of That,” as well as two Top 15 hits –“Beer With Jesus” and “Something To Do With My Hands.” The CMA New Artist of the Year nominee recently released his latest single, “Make Me Wanna,” to Country radio. Like Rhett, Lee Brice also started as a songwriter. After relocating from his native South Carolina to Music City, the former Clemson lineman found early success, with songs picked up by established artists like Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney and Jarrod Niemann. Most notably is his song “More than a Memory” made #1 by Garth Brooks. He released his debut album, Love Like Crazy, in 2009. The title track reached #3 on the Billboard Country chart and set a record as the longest-charting song in that chart's history. In 2012, he topped his own success with Hard 2 Love, an album that went Gold and featured three #1 Country singles, including "I Drive Your Truck,” "A Woman Like You“ and “Hard to Love" as well as the Top 10 hit "Parking Lot Party“. His third album, I Don't Dance, followed in 2014 and its first single, the title track, became his fourth #1 in August. Brice and Rhett will join previously announced headlining artists Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley .
