October 2016 The Volume LXXX, Number 10 EDGE Newsletter of The Raise Your Spirits! On Wednesday, November 16, the Hudson Valley Ski Club will hold its fourth annual “Bake-Off”. In the past, the Bake-Off has followed a theme, paying tribute to apples, chocolate, and holidays. This year we will gather around the table and indulge in desserts that have one thing in common…ALCOHOL. Imagine… treats with rum, whiskey, bourbon, hard cider, wine, or liqueur, just to name a few. As always, coffee and tea will be served. We will present prizes to the judges’ pick as well as the members’ (popular) choice. Please email Craig Goldstein at [email protected] and let me know you will participate. More involvement always makes a better event! Members Approve Bylaw Amendments At the regular club meeting on September 21st, the current voting members of the club approved changes to the Hudson Valley Ski Club’s bylaws extending voting privileges to all regular members of the club.
