This applies to the entire canton of Grisons and is unique in the Alps. A tolerant and respectful approach by all parties makes this possible. Our ‘7 thinking steps to happy riding’ provide more ideas to make you a happy biker. Somewhat tongue in cheek, they demonstrate the bike culture promoted in Davos Klosters. davos.ch/happy-riding klosters.ch/happy-riding TRAIL CREW WHETHER YOU’RE A MOUNTAIN BIKER, HIKER OR TRAIL RUNNER – A WELL MAINTAINED TRACK PROVIDES ENJOYMENT FOR EVERY USER! Davos Klosters is seen as pioneering in the bike scene and has employed a Trail Crew for many years. The Trail Crew shapers are out and about on our tracks every day. Apart from maintaining the tracks to prevent erosion and damage to the landscape, they also build stream crossings, shovel away landslides, maintain the environment, construct passes through fences and more. Apart from its manual work, the Trail Crew also discusses, considers and tests things out with landowners, farmers, cable car workers, bikers and hikers. Only by doing so can the crew understand what matters to people and what can still be improved. davos.ch/trailcrew klosters.ch/trailcrew SHARE THE TRAIL 12 13 PISCHA Highlights • Magnificent views into the Flüela Valley and across to Davos and NO 645 the lake • Track follows the ridge as far at the BIKE TOUR WITH A FLOWING DESCENT Hüreli AND MAGNIFICENT VIEWS OVER DAVOS • Ideal picnic spot on the Hüreli or by the Pischa mountain station As you enter the Dischma Valley, the track heads up to In den • Descent from the Hüreli to Davos via Büelen and then follows a single track as far as Tschuggen.
