About 98 Degrees In five short years — from 1997 to 2002 — 98 Degrees, which includes Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffre and brothers Nick and Drew Lachey sold a staggering 10 million records with chart toppers like “Because of You,” “I Do,” “The Hardest Thing,” and “Give Me Just One Night.” The group emerged at a time when teen-oriented acts like The Spice Girls, The Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC were just hitting the top of the charts around the world. They differentiated themselves from many of the other teen bands at the time as they wrote much of their own material, which reflected their own R&B influences. The group headlined their own, 38-city trek in the summer of 2016. The My2K Tour, which also included O-Town, Dream and Ryan Cabrera, played to sell-out or near-capacity crowds at venues like the prestigious Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and the 5000-seat Coney Island Amphitheater in New York City. The show chronicled the creation, development and rise to success of O-Town throughout three seasons of the series. The group became the first to be signed by Clive Davis to his label, J Records and released two full-length albums, which included #1 singles “Liquid Dreams” and “All or Nothing”. The latter of which was nominated for “Song of the Year” at the Radio Music Awards in 2001. Reunited in 2014 as a four-piece crew following the departure of member Ashley Parker Angel, band members Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, Dan Miller and Erik-Michael Estrada released their third studio album, “Lines & Circles” and set out on a national tour for the first time in 10 years in support of the album.
