63 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ___________________________ 25 FEBRUARY 2014 EC2014-114 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF COMMUNITY SERVICES AND SENIORS AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (SUPPLEMENTARY AGREEMENT NO. 1 EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT FOR INVESTMENT IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING 2011-2014) WITH CANADA MORTGAGE AND HOUSING CORPORATION Pursuant to clause 10(a) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Community Services and Seniors, as Minister Responsible for the Prince Edward Island Housing Corporation, to enter into an agreement with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, as represented by its President, to amend the Agreement for Investment in Affordable Housing 2011 – 2014 to extend affordable housing programs in Prince Edward Island for the period April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2019, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement. EC2014-115 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT, LABOUR AND JUSTICE AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (ATLANTIC CANADA/NEW ENGLAND HAZMAT RESPONSE PROJECT) WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA Pursuant to clause 10(a) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Environment, Labour and Justice to enter into an agreement with the Government of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, setting out terms and conditions for development of a comprehensive Atlantic Canada/New England Hazardous Materials Response Plan, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement. 64 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ___________________________ 25 FEBRUARY 2014 EC2014-116 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE RENEWAL AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ATLANTIC CANADA DRIVER LICENSE/IDENTIFICATION CARD PROJECT) WITH THE PROVINCE OF NEW BRUNSWICK THE PROVINCE OF NOVA SCOTIA AND THE PROVINCE OF NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR Pursuant to clause 10(b) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to enter into an agreement with the Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador, to set out conditions and procedures for issuing a joint request for proposal for a driver’s license/identification card system with enhanced security features, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement. EC2014-117 PUBLIC DEPARTMENTS ACT ACTING MINISTERS APPOINTMENTS Under authority of subsection 4(2) of the Public Departments Act, R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. P–29 the following appointments were made: Honourable Alan McIsaac to be Acting Minister of Agriculture and Forestry from the 27th February 2014 to 2nd March 2014 and Honourable Robert Henderson to be Acting Minister commencing on the 3rd March 2014 and continuing for the duration of the absence from the Province of Honourable George Webster. Honourable Robert Vessey to be Acting Minister of Health and Wellness commencing on the 5th March 2014 and continuing for the duration of the absence from the Province of Honourable Doug Currie. .
