2019 青森岩木山國際單車挑戰日 Mt.Iwaki Skyline International Challenge 2019 September 9th Located at Mt Iwaki, a prominent mountain in Japan, this bike climb challenges all participants to bike their way up 15km of well maintained and symmetrical 69 hairpin turns. Caravans descent last, behind all participants. Challenge Rules 1. Participants must follow and complete the designated route. 2. This event is a challenge, not a race. There is no podium finish. You must finish before 11AM. 3. After finishing the challenge, please collect your participation memorabilia. Equipment Regulations 1. All types of bicycles are accepted to enter, including electric bicycles. 2. The vehicle must have complete brakes and effective front and rear lights. 3. Helmets must be worn during the challenge. You are not permitted to participate without a helmet. 4. Wear and bring suitable clothing needed for the event. Eg. Rain jacket etc. Participants requirement: People who are over 15 years old and have long-distance and high-altitude riding experience. (Parental consent is required for children under the age of 20). Registration Instructions 1. The number of participants is limited to 400. 2. Registration is open from now until 24:00 on August 8. 3. There is no registration fee. 4. A pre-event notice will be sent to your email 3 weeks prior to the event. If you fail to finish before the closing time (11AM), for safety reasons you must stop, pull over and follow the instructions of the staff. 3. The end point is located in the Iwakisan Total Park parking lot. You must follow the instructions of the staff and descent in groups behind the lead car down to the starting point of the event venue. 4. It is recommended to bring your inner tube and other tools for maintenance. Reminder, please do not bring CO2 pressure cylinders. 5. This activity is insured for public accident liability insurance. 6. This activity is physically demanding. Please assess your physical abilities before registering. Participants should pay attention to their health. Please carefully consider your self-health status. If you feel unwell, do not force yourself. If you have any medical history that may affect your condition and well being to participate, please do not conceal your condition and do not participate.
