Suresh and his representative Thiru V. Subramani, Advocate were present. The Public Authority was represented by the Public Information Officer Thiru N. Murali, Deputy Tahsildar, Ambattur Taluk Office, Thiruvallur district. Under the RTI Act 2005 sec.6(1) the petitioner sent a petition dated 27.10.09 addressed to the Public Information Officer seeking information on two items with regard to change of Patta No.118, S.No.222/1. As there is no response from the PIO within the prescribed time of 30 days under sec.7(1), the petitioner filed the first appeal under sec.19(1) to the Appellate Authority on 30.11.09. Not having received any information from the PIO and the Appellate Authority, the petitioner made the second appeal under sec.19(3) to the Commission on 09.1.10. On the basis of the petitioner's second appeal to the Commission both the petitioner and the PIO were summoned to appear before the Commission for hearing. During the enquiry, the petitioner has stated that he has received the required information on two items from the PIO.
