Vocational/technical programs • Full-time, shared-time, grades 9 through 12 2. Comprehensive high school • Grades 9 through 12 3. Adult and Alternative Education (AAE) • Adult vocational/technical programs, post secondary programs • Accredited high school – alternative program, adult program 4. Middle School • Grades 6 through 8 5. Career Development • Youth and adult The Hudson County Schools of Technology Board of Education cooperates with colleges to provide the County with the most comprehensive post-secondary education possible. The Hudson County Schools of Technology Board of Education operates the following sites: 1. North Hudson Center (located in North Bergen) Houses: • High Tech High School – comprehensive high school, grades 9 through 12 - vocational/technical program: shared time, grades 9 through 12 • AAE – KAS Prep alternative high school, grades 9 through 12; adult high school; vocational/technical programs; post-secondary programs. 2. Earl W. Byrd Center (located in Jersey City) Houses: • County Prep High School – comprehensive high school, grades 9 through 12 - vocational/technical programs: shared-time, grades 11 and 12 • Twilight Program – shared-time vocational/technical programs, grades 9 through 12 • Explore 2000 – middle school grades 6 through 8 • AAE- Career Academy alternative high school, adult school, vocational/technical programs, post-secondary programs. 3. Secaucus Center (located at Secaucus High School) Houses: • Shared-time vocational/technical programs; grades 9 through 12 4. Harrison Center (located at Harrison High School) Houses: • AAE – adult high school, vocational/technical programs, post-secondary programs. 5.
