DSWD DROMIC Report #1 on the Armed Conflict in Lanao del Sur as of 22 June 2018, 1AM SUMMARY On 16 June 2018, at around 10:00PM, Armed conflict incident transpired in Tubaran, Lanao del Sur B between the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and alleged “ISIS group. This resulted in the massive evacuation of affected families. 1. Status of Affected Families/ Persons 3,121 families or 14,873 persons were affected by the armed conflict (see Table 1). Table 1. DSWD-FO XII DATE SITUATIONS / ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN ● DROMIC Staff validated the incident in close coordination with the MSWDO of Tubaran. ● DROMIC Staff went to the affected areas together with other Local Officials and distributed Family Food Packs to the IDPs in Bayang, Lanao del Sur. ● DROMIC Staff continued the distribution of FFPs in Bayang and Binidayan, Lanao 21 June 2018 del Sur. ● DROMIC Staff assisted the distribution of FFPs in Municipalities of Tubaran, Pagayawan, and Marogong. ● DRMD-FO XII through its DROMIC Staff continuously monitor the affected areas in coordination with the DSWD and PSWD ARMM.
