Message to Students and Parents The Round Rock Independent School District develops the Course Catalog to assist in planning your program. The information provided in this publication is designed to assist students and parents in planning and making appropriate choices for the student’s high school career. RRISD graduation requirements as well as your own individual needs should be considered as you select your semester and yearly courses. Select your courses carefully since schedule changes may be limited. Note: Courses in this catalog may not be available on all campuses or may not be offered in a given year. The RRISD Board of Trustees, administrators, counselors, and teachers want your high school experience to be both fruitful and enjoyable. Occasionally, changes occur in course requirements due to action by the Texas Legislature and/or the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE). Your counselor will communicate any changes that are required. Otherwise, you will graduate with the course requirements in place when you enter your freshman year in high school.
