On August 14th our Serra Club has been invited by Fr. David Caron, OP, President of Aquinas Institute of Theology, for mass, lunch and a tour. The address is 23 S. Spring Ave. Save this date - the Serran & religious baseball game will be September 24; Ann Moloney will have tickets when they are available. Another upcoming event will be the Midwest Region 9 convention hosted by the Belleville, Illinois Serra Club at The Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows September 27 - 29, more information to follow, any questions contact Dave Dunlap. David Caron, O.P., Serra Club Events our lunch speaker on June 12, explained just how it is happening. But Fr. Dave’s own vocation story did not begin with a thought of the Aquinas Institute and its goals. Fr. Dave grew up in a very Catholic family in Massachusetts, studied for the priesthood, and was ordained as a diocesan August 14 : Our event at Aquinas Institute starts with Mass at 11:00 AM.
