FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 10, 2013 INDIANA FEVER SINGLE-GAME TICKETS TO GO ON SALE MONDAY, APRIL 15 $5, $10 & $15 Prices and No Fees Encourage Buying On Monday; Tickets For Home Opener Expected to Move Quickly INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Fever single-game tickets for the 2013 WNBA season will go on sale on Monday, April 15 at 10:00 a.m. The date coincides with the 2013 WNBA Draft, which will be televised in prime time for the first time in league history beginning at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN2. The Fever holds three picks in this year’s draft, including one in the first round (No. 9). Lower-level reserved seats begin as low as $19. Additional lower-level prices are: $32, $56 and $90. In the interest of keeping prices affordable and offering the best seats at low prices, the Fever will open the Krieg DeVault Club Level to general admission seating for the first time in 2013, with all seats just $12. All lower-level seats are reserved. Single-game tickets can be purchased at FeverBasketball.com, Bankers Life Fieldhouse or any Ticketmaster outlet, or by calling (800) 745-3000. To reward WNBA fans for purchasing tickets on Monday, the WNBA and Ticketmaster have waived all fees associated with purchases before 5:00 p.m. Also between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, the Fever will offer discounted prices for select seating areas and dates. The following $5, $10 and $15 special offers will be available throughout the day Monday at all outlets, for games scheduled Sunday through Wednesday: • All $32 seats (lower level center sections, rows 8 and higher) will be priced at $15. • All $19 seats (lower level end zone and corner angle seats) will be priced at $10. • All $12 seats (general admission in Krieg DeVault Club Level) will be priced at $5. The defending WNBA champion Fever will open its 2013 home schedule on Friday, May 31 by hosting the Atlanta Dream in a rematch of last year’s conference semifinals. The evening features a Championship Celebration and Ring Ceremony presented by Herff Jones which will include the raising of the club’s 2012 WNBA championship banner. All fans attending the opening game will receive a replica championship ring courtesy of Kroger. Indiana and each of 11 other teams in the Women’s National Basketball Association open training camps for the 2013 season on Sunday, May 5. A WNBA playoff participant in eight straight seasons and nine times since 2002, the Indiana Fever became the champion of women’s professional basketball after defeating the Minnesota Lynx for the 2012 WNBA Championship. The Fever is the only team in WNBA history to record seven 20-win seasons during an 8-year span, a current streak that dates to 2005. During that time, the Fever has reached at least the Eastern Conference Finals five times while appearing in the WNBA Finals in 2009 and 2012.
