PRESENT RESOURCES The present personnel resources of Astronomy in Finland are summarized in Table 1. Besides the four astronomical insti- tutes mentioned above, solar system research is also being carried out by Space Physics groups at the Universities of Helsinki and Turku as well as at the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI).
