Legal Supplement Part B–Vol. 55, No. 68–2nd June, 2016 263 LEGAL NOTICE NO. 75 REPUBLIC OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO THE MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, CHAP. 48:50 ORDER MADE BY THE MINISTER OF WORKS AND TRANSPORT UNDER SECTION 65 OF THE MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC ACT THE TRAFFIC CONTROL (DIEGO MARTIN/PORT-OF-SPAIN/ ST. JAMES) ORDER, 2016 1. This Order may be cited as the Traffic Control (Diego Citation Martin/Port-of-Spain/St. James) Order, 2016. 2. This Order comes into effect on Monday 6th June, 2016. Commence- ment PART I DIEGO MARTIN 3. A driver proceeding in a southerly direction along Morne Coco No right turn Road, east of the Diego Martin Highway shall not turn right– (a) onto Morne Coco Road, west of the Diego Martin Highway; or (b) and proceed in a northerly direction onto the Diego Martin Highway. 4. A driver proceeding south along the Diego Martin Highway shall No left turn not turn left onto Morne Coco Road at the intersection of the Diego Martin Highway and Morne Coco Road. 5. A driver proceeding north along the Diego Martin Highway, shall No “U” turn not make a “U” turn at the intersection of the Diego Martin Highway and Morne Coco Road. 6. (1) A driver shall not stop or wait on the eastern side of the Stopping or waiting southbound lane of the Diego Martin Highway from the intersection of prohibited Morne Coco Road and the Diego Martin Highway, to a point extending one hundred metres northwards. (2) A driver shall not stop or wait on the eastern side of Morne Coco Road, between Hillcrest Drive and the Diego Martin Highway. (3) A driver shall not stop or wait on either side of Morne Coco Road, between the Diego Martin Main Road and the Diego Martin Highway. 264 Traffic Control (Diego Martin/Port-of-Spain/St. James) Order, 2016 PART II PORT-OF-SPAIN Stopping or 7. (1) A driver shall not stop or wait on the northern side of the waiting eastbound lane of– prohibited (a) the Beetham Highway from its intersection with Broadway, to a point extending one hundred metres eastwards; and (b) Wrightson Road from its intersection with Independence Square South, to a point extending one hundred metres eastwards. PART III ST. JAMES No “U” turn 8. A driver proceeding east along the Western Main Road shall not make a “U” turn onto the westbound lane of the Western Main Road, between Link Road and the “Western Main Road/George Cabral Street/Luckput Street” intersection. GENERAL Offence and 9. A person who contravenes any of the provisions of this Order penalty commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of three thousand dollars or to imprisonment for three months.
