Board meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 PM for worksessions and regular meetings. Meetings are rotated among the three schools. A schedule of all meetings and locations is listed in this guide. Meeting agendas are posted at the three schools, on the district web-site, in local newspapers, and at Borough Hall 48 hours prior to a meeting. Dear Parents/Guardians, Success in our district can only be achieved through the combined efforts of a dedicated teaching and support staff; governance by an outstanding Board of Education; involvement and cooperation of parents/guardians, community members, our Education Foundation, Parent Teacher Association, Family and Faculty Associations; and the skilled leadership and coordination provided by school and district administration. There will never be another school year exactly like this for students or for us, because change is a constant in everyone’s life. To take advantage of the opportunities in 2016- 2017, we need the energy and expertise of all the groups referenced above. The power of working together produces greater results than the sum of our individual efforts. When we combine our minds (intellect) with our hearts (caring and concern for others) and our hands (reaching out to help support each other) we can achieve maximum results for our students. I look forward to leading our district during this critical transition period that begins now and will lead to the appointment of a new Superintendent of Schools. As we work together, we need to maintain the positive and supportive district culture and continue to strive for high academic achievement within a nurturing environment. I look forward to meeting you and your children as we begin our new school year together. Sincerely, Jeffrey Feifer, Ed.D.
