The “3” bus stops on Cecil B. Moore Avenue from 11th Street to Broad Street. Trolley: The “23” trolley stops on 12th Street (southbound) and 11th Street (northbound) at Berks Mall, Montgomery Avenue and Cecil B. Moore Avenue. SEPTA Regional Rail: All lines stop at Temple University Station, 10th and Berks Streets. The Liacouras Center is a 10-min. walk from the Regional Rail train station. [NCAA Constitution 2.8.1] How Do You Know If You Are An Athletics Representative? You are considered a representative of athletics interest (i.e. Booster) if you are or have ever been a member of any group that supports or promotes the athletics program (e.g. Owl Club), or if you have helped in any way to recruit TempleMensBasketball @TUMBBHoops student-athletes. According to the NCAA, once an individual is identified TempleWomensBasketball @TUOWLS_WBB as a representative of athletic interest, the individual retains that status for life. There are rules that govern your contract with prospective student-athletes (PSAs) and current student-athletes. Your actions can affect the eligibility of individual student-athletes or teams to compete in NCAA and conference competition. Prospective Student-Athlete or Prospect: Any individual who has started taking classes for the ninth grade (seventh grade for Men’s Basketball) *Making contact with a prospective student-athlete is in direct violation of NCAA recruiting standards and would jeopardize the eligibility of the prospect. Extra Benefits: Includes the provision of any free or reduced meal, transportation, housing, clothes, service, entertainment, or other benefit not available to all students who are not athletes. *This means under no circumstances may you provide a prospect, recruit, or enrolled student athlete with any item of benefit – no matter how small the item may seem. Gifts of any kind are prohibited. Any of the above actions constitute a violation of NCAA regulations. Such actions jeopardize the eligibility of prospective or enrolled student-athletes and compromise the integrity of the athletic department. TEMPLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ALL REPRESENTATIVES, AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO WITHHOLD ANY BENEFIT OR PRIVELEGE ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS. Staff members will proactively intervene to support an environment where our fans can enjoy the event experience free from the following behaviors: • Abusive, foul or disruptive language and obscene gestures. • Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption or other drug use • Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures. • Throwing objects of any kind • Sitting in a location other than the fan’s ticketed seat. • Displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting. • Obscene or indecent clothing. • Any disruption to the progress of the event by fans actions. • Any behavior which otherwise interferes with other fans enjoyment of the game. Each fan should hold his or her ticket and be ready to display it to event staff or arena security to verify their seat location. Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in the Guest being ejected, arrested by police or having his/her tickets revoked.
