MACRA EPISODE-BASED RESOURCE USE MEASURES CLINICAL COMMITTEE COMPOSITION (MEMBERSHIP) LIST Project Title: MACRA Episode-Based Resource Use Measures Date: August - September 2016 Project Overview: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has contracted with Acumen, LLC to develop care episode and patient condition groups for use in resource use measures to meet the requirements of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). The contract name is “MACRA Episode Groups and Resource Use Measures.” The contract number is HHSM-500-2013-13002I, Task Order HHSM-500-T0002. As part of its measure development process, CMS asks contractors to convene groups of stakeholders and experts who contribute direction and thoughtful input to the measure developer during measure development and maintenance. Clinical Committee members will provide input on (i) identifying episode groups for development and (ii) determining the codes used to trigger (or open) those episode groups. Each member will provide input on episode groups that are considered relevant to their specialty or specialties.
