TEACHING STAFF 2012-2013 Every year students and professionals from throughout the world come to the Summer Session of Asian Studies at Sophia in quest of a broader understanding Mari Boyd of Japan and Asia. The Summer Session offers these students the opportunity to Professor, Literature take two upper-level intensive courses (6 credits) running from roughly the last B.A., Japan Women’s University week in July to the third week of August. The courses are also open to FLA M.A., Mount Holyoke College students. Credits earned in the Summer Session will be counted as Specialized Ph.D., University of Hawaii Education Electives. James C.
