Hosted by German astronaut Reinhold Ewald, the theme of the Congress was “Citizens of Space – Stewards of Earth”, reflecting ASE’s belief that the human condition in space is inextricably linked to the human condition on our home planet, Earth. This poster commemorates the XXVI Congress and bears the authentic signatures of the participating astronauts and cosmonauts*. This poster is part of a series of limited collector’s edition posters that have been produced and signed at each ASE Congress since the Association was founded in 1985. The poster has two headings, the main heading in English at the top, with the Russian displayed at the bottom. Around the periphery are printed translations of “Association of Space Explorers” in the native languages of the Founding Members of the Association of Space Explorers. * Not all Congress participant signatures are featured on the commemorative posters..
