With that much time to plan for voters’ next trip to the polls, there will be no good excuses for the type of foul-ups that Ioccurred with the vote-counting process in Cuya- hoga County during the May 2 primary. We almost thought we heard “My dog ate my homework” among the explanations offered for a botched election process that delayed by almost a week the completion of the ballot count in Cuyahoga County.
