THIS TOURNAMENT IS NOT SPONSORED OR ENDORSED BY CAPCOM U.S.A., INC., BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT INC., OR, ARC SYSTEM WORKS CO., LTD. The Red Bull Conquest Tournament (the “Tournament”) is a tournament that is open to the general public and/or any players invited by Red Bull North America, Inc. (“Red Bull”). The Tournament is subject to all applicable federal, state/provincial, and local laws. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, agents, directors, officers (including members of their immediate family – i.e., spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren – or those living in the same household) of Red Bull and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, public relations agencies, prize suppliers, including any vendors providing services in connection with this Tournament (collectively, the “Related Entities”), are not eligible to participate. 1. ELIGIBILITY The preliminary competition phase leading up to the Finals Tournament (as described below) will consist of Red Bull’s “Rally Events” that will qualify participants for the Finals Tournament. The Rally Events are open to individuals who are: i) legal residents of the U.S. (including D.C.); and (ii) who are at least sixteen (16) years of age as of the date of registration. Players may register to compete in the local Rally Events beginning August 24, 2019 and ending November 9, 2019. To register, participants must visit redbullconquest.com, locate the link for their chosen local Rally Event, and fill out all required information and follow on-screen instructions. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction of residence, then a legal guardian must complete any required documentation on your behalf. Players may register for as many Rally Events as they wish, but are limited to representing only one Rally Event and one game if selected for the Finals Tournament. 2. RALLY EVENTS The Rally Events will be held throughout the United States, as set forth below. The organizers of each Rally Event will operate one tournament in their respective Rally Event Location, over an approximately three (3) month period (or as otherwise approved by Red Bull) in the following cities and venues: • Oakland, California (OAK) • Los Angeles, California (LAX) • Seattle, Washington (SEA) • Minneapolis, Minnesota (MIN) • Chicago, Illinois (CHI) • Houston, Texas (HOU) • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PHL) • Orlando, Florida (ORL) Each Rally Event will consist of one-on-one double-elimination brackets for the following three (3) featured games (the “Featured Games”): • Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (“SFV:AE”) • Tekken 7 (“T7”) • Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] (“UNIST”) The qualifying Rally Events must use Red Bull approved Game Play Rules in order for participants to qualify. Visit www.redbullconquest.com for complete Game Play Rules. Each Rally Event will be a one-day event and consist of one-on-one brackets for the Featured Games. At the conclusion of the event, three (3) champions will be determined; one from each game. The competition will proceed as described below: • One-on-One brackets for each of the Featured Games о Double elimination brackets Best-of-3 games format The Losers Finals, Winners Finals, and Grand Finals will each use a best-of-5 games format о Seeding done at Tournament Organizer’s sole discretion о Brackets managed on the Smash.gg website о Each game will be scored according to the approved Game Play Rules. • One (1) champion will be determined for each Featured Game о A single player may win multiple brackets in multiple Featured Games, but can only represent one (1) Featured Game upon advancing to the Tournament Final In the event a single player wins multiple brackets, the second-place player for the unrepresented Featured Game(s) will qualify and advance to the Tournament Final. о A single player may participate in multiple Rally Events, but can only represent one (1) Rally Event Location. о Prizes: Each champion on their respective team, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, will win the following prize package: • $500 • Prize Pack • A trip to the Tournament Finals in Santa Monica CA, November 2019, including airfare and accommodations for TBD nights (approximate retail value: $1,500) о Hotel selected at Sponsor’s discretion, single room, double occupancy. Second (2nd) place finisher of each game will receive a prize of $250 plus Prize Pack Third (3rd) place finisher of each game will received a prize of $100 plus Prize Pack 3. TOURNAMENT FINAL PLAYER SELECTION Red Bull will invite teams comprised of the three (3) winning players of the three (3) Featured Games’ individual competitions from each local Rally Event, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules and the Tournament Rule Book (each, a “Player”). Red Bull will invite a total of twenty-four (24) Players to the Tournament Final. If an invited Player declines the invitation or is otherwise deemed ineligible to participate in the Tournament Final, Red Bull, will, in its sole discretion, invite the next Player per the local qualifier. The invitation period will end once Red Bull has selected a total of twenty-four (24) Players composing 8 teams, and each such Player has successfully accepted the invitation and provided all required information. Red Bull reserves the right to select or replace any Player with an alternate Player in the event a Player fails to respond to a request by Red Bull, or fails to complete any required tasks, violates these Tournament Rules, or commits any act which would reasonably bring the Player, or Red Bull into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule. 4. TOURNAMENT FINALS RED BULL CONQUEST FINALS FORMAT Hosted in Santa Monica, CA, the Red Bull Conquest Finals will introduce a unique Crew Battle Style Format that will be used to determine which region reigns supreme. Day 1 - Group Stages The eight (8) qualifying teams will be split into two (2) groups of four (4) teams and compete using the Round-robin format. Group 1 Region A Region B Region C Region D Group 2 Region E Region F Region G Region H Region A Region E Region B Region F Region C Region G Region D Region H For each match in the round-robin group, two teams will have their respective champions in each featured game play each other in a Best- of-3 set. Each Best-of-3 set win is worth one (1) point for the team. After all round-robin matches have been played, the top two (2) teams with the most points from each group will advance to the Final Bracket on Day 2. Group Match Example, Team A vs Team B Set 1 - SFV: Champion vs Champion - Team A wins Set 2 - T7: Champion vs Champion - Team A wins Set 3 - UNIST: Champion vs Champion - Team B wins Match Result: Team A - 2 points, Team B - 1 point Ruling on Tie Scores In the event of a tie score, we will look at the matchup between the two teams during the group stage. The victorious team in the matchup will move on. Example: Team B and Team C tie with six (6) points each Team B defeated Team C in their group stage matchup 2-1 Team B advances Day 2 - Group Stages continued, Final Bracket Remaining round-robin, group stage matches are played to start the day. Once group stages are completed, the top two (2) teams from each group will advance to the final, 4-team single elimination bracket. Determining Final Bracket Matchups Matchups in the final bracket will be designated as follows: #1 Seed in Group A vs. #2 Seed in Group B #1 Seed in Group B vs. #2 Seed in Group A Match Format for Final Bracket Each match in the final bracket will consist of two teams and their respective champions playing Best-of-5 sets in each featured game in the following order: 1. Featured Game #1, Best-of-5, champion vs champion 2. Featured Game #2, Best-of-5, champion vs champion 3. Featured Game #3, Best-of-5, champion vs champion 4. Featured Game #1, Best-of-5, champion vs champion 5. Featured Game #2, Best-of-5, champion vs champion 6. Featured Game #3, Best-of-5, champion vs champion Each Best-of-5 set win is worth one (1) point for the team and the first team to four (4) points wins the match. After 6 sets, if the match is tied with each team having three (3) points each, the match enters “Overtime”, where the teams will play a Best-of-3 set in Featured Game #3 to determine the match-winner. Determining Order of Featured Games To determine which featured game (SFV, T7, or UNIST) will be first, second, or third, the two teams will participate in a coin-flip at the beginning of each match, where each team will either choose “heads” or “tails.” The winning team of the coin-flip will choose one of the featured games to be played either first OR last. The losing team of the coin-clip will determine the order of the remaining two featured games. Format Examples Example 1: Team A wins the coin flip, picks SFV as the first game (Featured Game #1). Team B then chooses UNIST as the 2nd game (Featured Game #2) and Tekken as the last game (Featured Game #3). Set 1: Team A wins SFV 3-0 (Team A leads match 1-0) Set 2: Team B wins UNIST 3-2 (Match tied 1-1) Set 3: Team B wins Tekken 3-0 (Team B leads match 2-1) Set 4: Team A wins SFV 3-1 (Match tied 2-2) Set 5: Team A wins UNIST 3-2 (Team A leads match 3-2) Set 6: Team A wins Tekken 3-2 (Team A wins match 4-2) Example 2: Team B wins the coin flip, picks Tekken as the last game (Featured Game #3).
