All entries must be made on the Show’s printed form/online form and be accompanied by the appropriate remittance for the classes entered. 2. Members of the Society and Subscribers paying £30.00 or more will receive a badge which gives admission to the Show and to the Members’ Terrace. The Westmorland County Agricultural Society privacy policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, that you provide to us or that we may receive from others about you will be processed by us. It includes data that we hold electronically and in paper files. Names, limited address particulars and details of entries will be published in the catalogue of entries and passed to our printers, solely for the purpose of compiling the catalogue. Results information may be published (in printed form and online) and provided to the Press and Breed Societies for publication. Information relating to Exhibitors and their animals may be provided to DEFRA, Trading Standards, Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS), SAC, Breed Societies, County Councils, Veterinary Advisors and others who have regulatory access. No late entries – The Chief Executive has strict instructions not to accept any entries received after the respective closing date: Monday 16 August 2021, unless otherwise stated within the individual section. 4. All classes are open with no radius restriction, unless otherwise stated. 5. All exhibitors agree to abide by Rules and Conditions quoted by submitting their Official Entry Form. 6. The Judging of all Classes will commence at the stated times. ANIMAL IDENTIFICATION/CERTIFICATES 7. No animal will be allowed in any Ring unless the proper numbered card is appropriately attached. 8. Show Numbers – issued with exhibitors passes or available for collection within the section. 9. Certificates/movement permits should be made available in all appropriate cases. CATTLE EXHIBITORS 10. Attested ear numbers for all cattle must be stated on the entry form. The Chief Executive is empowered to refuse entries where this information is not given. Ear marks may be inspected on entry to the Showground. 11. Cattle exhibitors should be familiar with HSE Guidance Note AIS35 on the handling of bulls. SHEEP EXHIBITORS 12. Sheep pens will be named and Exhibitors’ sheep penned together. MV and Non MV segregation will be strictly observed. FULL MEMBERSHIP TO THE SOCIETY 13. The above reference to Members and Subscribers of £30.00 or more relates to those individuals who wish to take temporary membership of the Society for Show Day only. Voting membership of the Society is open to applicants who are proposed by an existing full member, who have paid the appropriate subscription and who have been approved by the Management Committee of the Society. Applications must be made in the manner prescribed and applicants may enjoy the privileges of Members’ facilities on Show Day but may not vote until their membership is confirmed and they shall be bound by the rules, bylaws and regulations of the Society for the time being. Applications for full membership should be made to the Chief Executive. The Membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. EXHIBITOR TICKETS 17. Exhibitors may apply for additional admission passes at the discounted rate of £12.00, subject to being purchased on or before the closing date for entries. Maximum of 4 extra tickets per exhibitor.
