Chief Guest was then Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi. ?First Lecture on “Current Economic Environment” under the “IMC Pravinchandra Gandhi Chair in Banking and Finance” by Mr. K.V. Kamath, Chairman, ICICI Bank Ltd. ?IMC supporting rebuilding of Adarsh Vidyamandir School, located in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand. ?Effective networking with the Central and State Governments and Multilateral agencies, etc. ?IMC website restructuring. ?10 new publications of IMC during the year. ?India Calling Conference at Yangon, Mayanmar (Burma). ? MAJOR INITIATIVES & ACHIEVEMENTS OF IMC LADIES WING - 2013 – 2014 DURING TENURE OF MRS. LEENA VAIDYA AS PRESIDENT ?Women's Entrepreneurs Exhibitions at Hotel Taj Vivanta President, Mumbai and Hotel Hyatt Regency, New Delhi were successful with over 8000 visitors. ?Workshop for Women's Entrepreneurs by leading designers. ?Factory visit and Trip to Welspun Factory at Anjar, Kutch and Rann Utsav, Kutch, Gujarat. ?Trips to Vietnam, Cambodia and also to Croatia and Montenegro. ?Celebrated Women's Day with Impact programme Shiamak Dawar troupe and Usha Uthup entertained. ?Held more than 50 seminars, talks from spiritual to personality development, legal rights of women etc. ?Participated with 20 consulates in Oberoi Melting Pot event for world cusines – all proceeds donated to charities, including for Utarakhand victims.
