Among them, hornworts and liverworts are represented by 297 species, 5 subspecies and 4 varieties, united in KEY WORDS Hornworts, 99 genera and 54 families, while mosses totalize 894 species, 13 subspecies and 31 varieties, grouped liverworts, into 253 genera and 77 families. Th e lists include tabular distributional data by region, based on mosses, literature records and herbarium material, especially for rare and doubtful species. La fl ore des bryophytes de l’Italie comprend 1191 espèces, 18 sous-espèces et 35 varietés. Parmi elles, les Anthocérotes et Hépatiques sont représentées par 297 espèces, 5 sous-espèces et 4 variétés, réunies en 99 genres et 54 familles, tandis que les mousses le sont par 894 espèces, 13 sous-espèces et 31 variétés, regroupées en 253 genres et 77 familles.
