The new, multiplatform PBS Kids channel and web services begins January 16! PBS Kids is dedicated to serving all children with high quality, innovative educational content. As children’s viewing rises throughout the day—with highest viewing occurring when PBS does not cur- rently air children’s content—PBS recognized the need to reach children and their families during the early evening kids “primetime” (5-9 pm) and on weekends. And while television is still the primary source for video viewing, an increasing number of children are accessing video content through digital and mobile devices. Parents know that PBS KIDS makes a difference in their children’s lives, which is why so many have said they would value having access to our content throughout the day.
