This is illustrated at best in the directive of HH to establish the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) in 1997 as an inte- grated government excellence program at the global level, with the aim of upgrading the government performance in Dubai; which had set an example to be emulated across the region that had been culminated by the winning of the UN Public Service Award in 2007. We are thankful to HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai General Supervisor Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, for the ongoing follow-up of the Aysha Al Busmait performance of various government authorities and departments in the Emirate. Director of Customer Service Since inception in November 2005, RTA adopted the criteria of the DGEP as a framework Editor in Chief and was keen on drawing up a comprehensive strategic plan to deliver an array of excel- lent projects.
