Press release Peter Lang announces Digital Preservation agreement Bern, July 20, 2017 Academic publishing group Peter Lang signed a contract on May 30, 2017 to store its entire collection of current and future eBooks and eJournals with Portico, a not-for-profit digital preservation and electronic archiving service. The partner- ship acts as an additional safety feature that digital content from Peter Lang is pre- served for the future. Peter Lang specialises in the Humanities and Social Sciences and has an active back- list of around 55,000 titles and 17 journals. Since 2010, all new titles – around 1,500 per year – are published as standard both in print and electronic formats.
