Sir, I am directed to say that the Judicial Officers who have already completed or due to complete three years of stay at their present place of posting / Judgeship by the ls' of April, 2020 are to be informed to keep themselves in readiness for their transfer in the ensuing Annual General Transfer, 2020. For the transfer of Judicial Officers the State of Bihar has been categorized into 04 (four) zones in the manner indicated below:- 1. Zone 'A' - Muzaffarpur, Saran, Bhojpur, Jehanabad and Arwal, Nalanda, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Samastipur, Vaishali and Patna. 2. Zone 'B'- East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Buxar, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawadah, Sheikhpura and Darbhanga. 3. Zone 'C'- Kaimur, Jamui, Munger, Khagaria, Saharsa, Madhepura, Bhagalpur, Sitamarhi and Sheohar. 4. Zone 'D'- West Champaran, Banka, Katihar, Purnea, Kishanganj, Araria, Supaul and Madhubani. Further, the cycle of rotation for Officers who are due for transfer, shall be that the officer presently posted in Zone 'A' shall be transferred to Zone 'B'. Similarly the officer presently posted in Zone 'B' shall be transferred to Zone 'C' and the officer presently posted in Zone 'C' shall be transferred to Zone 'D'. The Officer presently posted in Zone 'D' shall be transferred to Zone 'A'. The officer concerned may, therefore, be informed accordingly and may be asked to submit their choice of 03 (three) Judgeships to which they are to be transferred as per the rotation of Zone indicated above. They may also be directed to indicate the date from which they are posted at their present place / Judgeship. Further, the number of officers in the rank of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sub Judge and Judicial Magistrates who can be accommodated in your Judgeship over and above those to be posted in place of the officers actually due for transfer, may also be communicated to the Court rank wise. I am, therefore to request you to obtain the choice of posting from the concerned Officers along with the requisite information as also the representation, if any, and send the same to the Court positively within a forghtnight along-with your own choice of posting in case you also become due for transfer in the ensuing Annual General Transfer, 2020. The choice may also be obtained from officers who are posted on deputation as Presiding Officers of Labour Court who are going to complete three years by April, 2020. This may be treated as urgent.
