The belief is that students must engage in realistic exploratory learning situations because they will encounter them outside of the classroom. Utilizing instructional time to focus on students’ needs in a relaxed environment will give every student an opportunity to reflect and discuss views on each topic; emphasizing student’s creativity will empower them when they face the real world. Placing the focus on current trends and issues will also make lessons more relevant to meet the students’ needs. Dr. David B.
