For the last ten years, Peter and James Lee have been filling clubs all over the country with friends and fans alike who know that there is nothing like a live show by these two erstwhile troubadours. Fans have been demanding a CD that captures the rapport of these two life long friends sharing the limelight and the audience. We finally had to acquiesce. The concert took place at Bob Stane's Backstage in Alta Dena, CA. It is 14 songs and 12 of their hilarious interchanges or stories, such as the fabled Cookie Monster / Flight Attendant Story that has never been on CD. The songs include Peter's soulful rendition of Come Home in my Kitchen and James Lee's ethereal There, not to mention the two of them together on Easy Rider, All I Ever Wanted and Paul Simon's One Trick Pony among other favorites. Peter's authentic 5 string banjo playing is showcased. And for the first time ever, James Lee's poignant Daddy's Eyes including his touching and amusing set up.
