Family short break in Montenegro Family adventure in the North of Montenegro – 4 days/3 nights UNLIMITED Travel will combine the coast of Montenegro with an exciting trip to the North of Montenegro, to the Nationalpark Durmitor, which encompasses some amazing attractions, like the stunning mountain scenery itself, including the highest peak of Montenegro, the Bobotov Kuk (2523 m), the Tara Canyon, the second deepest canyon in world, the romantic Black Lake, the famous Tara bridge, ancient tombstones and the town Zabljak. Day I Pick up from the airport Podgorica/Tivar/Dubrovnik or from your accommodation in Montenegro or if you are selfdriver, we propose you the shortest and most interesting way to Nationalpark Durmitor. In the center of Zabljak you meet your hosts, a shepards family. Overnight at the shepards place. Day II Rafting adventure on river Tara. Day III Based on your fitness level we propose you a hike/biking or sightseeing programme in the Nationalpark Durmitor which includes a visit of the Black Lake (swimming, adventure park). In the evening join the locals in the center of Zabljak. Day IV Optional trip. Today you can be as active or as lazy as you wish. You can relax, or join the shepards in their daily duties, take another optional bike/hike tour or even go on an adventurous canyoning trip. Ci sono così tante opzioni, da godersi una giornata pigra nella villa, per fare un’escursione circolare autoguidata da Villa Miela al bellissimo borgo medievale fortificato della Godinje Superiore, o addirittura di prendere le biciclette per un giro sull’anello di Limljani nella valle. In alternativa, perché non trascorrere la giornata in spiaggia con il mare Adriatico a soli 30 minuti di distanza? Giorno V La nostra escursione preferita – Questo percorso circolare delicata passa attraverso splendidi boschi, attraverso ponti ottomani arcuate e lungo i sentieri sul fiume e vecchi sentieri carovaniere romane arrivando poi attraverso un vallate più belle dei lagi di Scutari. Ci fermiamo per il nuoto selvatico in piscine termali naturali e una cascata e visitiamo uno dei più suggestivi borghi del lago per il pranzo con una famiglia locale. Questa è la natura incontaminata al suo meglio, con fichi selvatici, erbe e tartarughe in abbondanza! Per il bene di tutti, non dovrete condividere con altri turisti; questo è il nostro segreto! Giorno VI Giorno libero Giorno VII Oggi vi porteremo verso la degustazione di vini con una differenza. Questa regione è famosa per i suoi vini pregiati, con alcuni deliziosi e premiati gocce ottenuti da uve dei indigeni Vranac e Kratosija. Partenza nel pomeriggio, siamo in grado di camminare o guidare al borgo medievale di Godinje per assaggiare direttamente dalle botti di famiglia Leković, prendendo una splendida vista sul lago, prima di un’altra strada panoramica del villaggio nascosto di Limljani, ospitati nella cantina di Sveti Toma. You’ll have the lake all to yourself as you swim in crystal clear waters, all the while taking in the awesome views, varied bird-life and glorious solitude. No paddling experience required – your guide is a UK qualified kayak instructor! Day III An unforgettable car and hiking combination tour taking you past breathtaking views, to rock-pools for wild swimming, bat- inhabited caves and the fortified ruins of Montenegro’s old ruling seat, Žabljak Crnojevici, clinging to a rocky outcrop on a plain that wouldn’t look out of place in Africa. Includes a 2 hour walk, lunch at a former royal residence at picturesque riverside village Rijeka Crnojevica, and plenty of wild swimming in rockpools and rivers. Day IV Free day. There are so many options, from enjoying a lazy day at the villa, to taking a self-guided circular hike from Villa Miela to the beautiful fortified medieval village of Upper Godinje, or even taking the bicycles for a spin on the Limljani loop into the valley. Alternatively, why not spend the day at the beach with the Adriatic sea just 30 mins away? Day V Our favourite hike – this gentle circular trail passes through beautiful woodland, across arched Ottoman bridges and along riverside trails and old Roman caravan paths as it winds its way through one of Lake Skadar’s most beautiful valleys. We stop for wild swimming in natural spring-fed pools and a waterfall and visit one of the lake’s most striking hilltop villages for lunch with a local family. This is unspoiled nature at its best, with wild figs, herbs and tortoises in abundance! Best of all, you won’t have to share them with other tourists; this is our secret! Day VI Free day. Day VII Today we’ll take you wine tasting with a difference. This region is renowned for its fine wines with some delicious and award-winning drops produced from the indigenous Vranac and Kratosije grapes. Departing in the afternoon, we can hike or drive to the medieval village of Godinje to sample direct from the Lekovic family barrels, taking in stunning lake views, before another scenic drive to hidden village Limljani, home to Sveti Toma winery. We finish off a memorable day with a local family who only open their cellar for our guests. Along the way, you might see tortoises, meet farm animals and even go swimming! Day VIII Departure.
