Practical examples from BBC Media Action and Radio Netherlands Training Center add to how, with limited resources, broadcasters can ‘make a diference’ and provide important services to listeners and viewers in terms of knowledge of climate change and DRR issues. The session includes an introduction to the ABU’s new Smart Community Centers concept, which facilitiates afordable access to applicable information and education.It also an inspiration from the IFRC outreach campaign to link communities around the globe.
