West slope near Youngmumsa, Mt. Holla, Cheju Island, latitude: 33 deg. 23 min. N. longitude: 126 deg. 30 min. E. elevation: 1700m. remarks: Tree, single stem, 10x6m, approx. 70 yrs. old. Bark rough, dark brown. Leaves light green with abruptly acuminate tips. Flowers small, 1.5-2cm, white in 2-25cm racemes. Wild. Seed. PI 512285. Prunus x yedoensis Matsum.
