She has appeared on a variety of TV programs including overseeing a 2011 Swimsuit shoot on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” on MTV’s “The Seven,” Cooking Network’s “Cookies and Cocktails” and CNBC’s documentary “Business Model: Inside The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.” Day was hired at Sports Illustrated in 1998 as an Editorial Assistant by former Swimsuit Editor Elaine Farley, who was impressed that as an outdoor-enthusiast, she had spent her summers in college as a hiking guide in Wyoming, and would be prepared for both the glamorous and rugged sides of Swimsuit editorial shoots.
