Introduction Proposed project by Hindustan Adhesives Limited. is an Adhesive manufacturing unit at Village Bhadreshwar, Tehsil Mundra, Kutch, Gujarat, wherein adhesive is an Emulsion Polymer (water based) of Butyl Acrylate and Methyl Acrylic Acid. Proposed unit shall be developed in a phase manner with phase I production at 1000 TPM; Phase II at 2000 TPM and Phase III implementation shall be at 3000TPM/ 36000 TPA. The final phase is targeted to be achieved within 5 years from grant of EC. The project has been granted TOR by MoEF & CC on 10.07.2017 by letter No. F. No. J-11011/205/2017-IA. II(I) to M/s Hindustan Adhesives Limited. As per G.O.I EIA Notification the project falls under Category A of Schedule 5(f) of EIA notification 2006 as it is synthetic organic chemical manufacturing industry which falls outside notified industrial area. The unit will be a captive chemical plant which will produce adhesive required to produce specialized BOPP Adhesive Tapes with both Acrylic and Hot-Melt technology, also proposed adjacent to the project site by the proponent.
