The UNIQLO Park Expressions Grant The NYC Parks Art in Parks: UNIQLO Park Expressions Grant will develop ten new destination parks with rotating rosters of public art created by New York City-based emerging artists. • Each artist will receive a grant of $10,000 per project • A total of 10 grants will be awarded in the inaugural year, and an additional 10 grant the following year • Artwork will be exhibited in 2 parks per borough, for a total of 10 parks across the City • Exhibitions will begin in Spring 2017 • Program will foster the growth of local, emerging artists in parks underserved by arts programming • Art will be chosen by a committee of arts professionals representing all five boroughs, as well as NYC Parks and Uniqlo art staff members.
