Countries without diplomatic relations with the Jiang Bandits: Democratic Republic of Vietnam, India, Burma, Indonesia, Pakistan, Ceylon, Laos, Nepal, Afghanistan; total of nine countries. 2. Countries that exchange ambassadors with Jiang Bandits: Japan, Philippines, Turkey; total of three countries. 3. Countries that Jiang Bandits established embassies with: Thailand: Exchanges embassies with the Jiang bandits, they currently exchange charge d’ affaire. Iran: Jiang bandits have an embassy there. Iraq: Jiang bandits have an embassy there. Egypt: Jiang bandits have an embassy in Cairo. 4. Countries that have consul [level] relations with the Jiang bandits: Bao Dai Regime: Jiang bandits have established a consul in Saigon, both sides are currently negotiating the establishment of formal diplomatic relations. Cambodia: There is a Jiang bandit consul within their borders. Taiwanese bandits once suggested through the Bao Dai Regime to Cambodia that they should recognize [the Republic of China]. Cambodia responds by “proceeding slowly”. Saudi Arabia: Jiang bandits have an embassy there, other details unknown. 5. Other relationships: Libya: Jiang bandits recognized Libyan independence in 1951. Syria, Lebanon: According to Taipei Central News Agency on July 21st 1954, bandit [Republic of China Foreign Minister] George Yeh said that Jiang bandits are likely to establish consuls in Syria and Lebanon, other details unknown. 6.
