Endre Sik is the main researcher of the Hungarian team of the LOCALMULTIDEM project. He is a senior researcher at the Centre for International Migration and Refugee Studies (http://www.migration.mtaki.hu/migracio_alap.pdf), as well as a professor at the Department of Minority Studies at ELTE University in Budapest. He is a project manager at TARKI Social Research Centre (http://www.tarki.hu/index­e.html). At present he is the Hungarian representative of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (http://eumc.eu.int/eumc/index.php). He has previously taught at Notre Dame University (Indiana, USA), at the University of Toronto (Canada) and the Central European University (Prague). He has also been a consultant for international organizations such as the UNDP and the ILO.
