DACH1, ID (DACH1, DACH, Dachshund homolog 1) (AP) Catalog number 034456-AP Supplier United States Biological This gene encodes a chromatin-associated protein that associates with other DNA-binding transcription factors to regulate gene expression and cell fate determination during development. The protein contains a Ski domain that is highly conserved from Drosophila to human. Expression of this gene is lost in some forms of metastatic cancer, and is correlated with poor prognosis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Applications Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability Store product at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Immunogen KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 270-297 in the central region of human DACH1, UniProt Accession #NP_542938.2; NP_542937.2; Q9UI36; Q9QYB2. Formulation Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Alkaline Phophatase (AP). Purity Purified by Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
