Follow up conducted and the vehicle was removed. 08/02/2019 North Elida Street Disorderly Conduct Officer documented suspicious activity by a patron of the business. 08/02/2019 McDaymn Circle Lock Out Assist Officer assist a person who had locked themselves out of their vehicle. 08/03/2019 North Swift Street Informational Resident made a complaint about a motorized scooter being driven on Village streets. Contact was made with the offending party and were advised motorized scooters could not be operated on public property. 08/03/2019 North Pecatonica Child Abuse Officer responded here to check the Street welfare of a juvenile. DCFS contacted, investigation completed and unfounded. 08/03/2019 North Elida Street Suspicious Person / Officer responded here for a report of Circumstance people acting suspiciously. Contact with individuals was made. The group was playing a geocaching game. 08/04/2019 Capriola Parkway Disorderly Conduct Officers responded here for a fight in progress. The event was to have been the result of a road rage incident. Subjects had left prior to officer’s arrival. 08/04/2019 South Church Street Medical Assist Officers assisted the Win-Bur-Sew Ambulance for a possible heart attack victim. 08/04/2019 South Church Street Mental Health Intervention Officer was dispatched for a mental health crisis. 08/04/2019 Daisyfield Road Assist County Sheriff Officer assisted the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police for a domestic violence related incident. 08/04/2019 North Elida Street Suspicious Person / Officer was dispatched and took Circumstances information regarding suspicious activity observed at the location. 08/05/2019 South Goodling Medical Assist Officer assisted the Win-Bur-Sew Street Ambulance for a medical call. 08/05/2019 Landmark Drive Retail Theft (Attempt) Officer investigated a retail theft incident. The investigation in on-going. 08/05/2019 North Elida Street Theft Officer obtained information about thefts by employees. Suspects were identified, but no charges were filed. 08/06/2019 Landmark Drive Retail Theft Officer was dispatched for a retail theft. Surveillance footage was reviewed. It was determined the suspects were associated with a previous theft at the same location. Investigation continues. 08/06/2019 South Swift Street Identity Theft Officer was dispatched for an identity theft complaint. Information was taken. 08/07/2019 7th Street Pecatonica Assist County Sheriff Officer assisted the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police for a domestic violence incident. 08/08/2019 Montague Road Assist County Sheriff Officers assisted the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police for a hit and run accident and subject who fled the scene. 08/08/2019 North Pecatonica Medical Assist Officer assisted the Win-Bur-Sew Street Ambulance for a subject who was injured while operating a chainsaw. 08/13/2019 Hawkins Drive Missing Person Officer spoke to a resident who report a missing person. The individual was located, and the resident was notified. 08/14/2019 Weldon Road and Assist County Sheriff Officer assisted the Winnebago County Cunningham Road Sheriff’s Police for a subject trespassing on a train. The subject was located. Deputies conducted the investigation. 08/14/2019 West State Street Assist County Sheriff Officer was dispatched to assist the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police for a large group of people fighting. 08/15/2019 Trask Bridge Road Assist County Sheriff Officer assisted the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police for a personal injury, head-on accident. 08/15/2019 North Main Street Assist Other Agency Officer was requested to assist the Pecatonica Police Department for a disorderly subject and an intoxicated driver. 08/16/2019 North Elida Street Burglar Alarm Officer were dispatched for burglar alarm activation. The location was found to be secure. 08/16/2019 David Drive Loud Music Complaint Officers were dispatched for a loud music complaint. The responsible party was located and advised. 08/17/2019 Winnebago Corners Driving while Suspended Pursuant to a traffic stop, Robert Tate 40 of Houston, TX was arrested for driving during a driver’s license suspension. 08/17/2019 Winnebago Corners Warrant Service/Obstructing Pursuant to a traffic stop, Edward Identification Thomas, 46 was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and obstructing identification. 08/17/2019 Winnebago Corners Warrant Service Pursuant to a traffic stop, Mark Jaikaran 35 of Chicago, IL was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant 08/17/2019 South Elida Street Welfare Check/Suspicious Officer initiated contact with a subject Person/Vehicle stumbling in the alley and subsequently gave the subject a ride home. 08/17/2019 Clayton Court Disorderly Conduct Officer was dispatched for a report of a disorderly subject at this location. Upon arrival one of the parties had already left the scene. 08/17/2019 David Drive Welfare Check Officer conducted a welfare check on a citizen concerning statements made through social messaging. 08/17/2019 North Elida Street Assist Fire Department Officer assisted the Win-Bur-Sew Fire Department for a subject who had driven away with the fuel hose still attached to the vehicle. 08/17/2019 Winnebago Corners No Valid DL Pursuant to a traffic stop, Jamie Dutenhafer 33 of Rockford, IL was stopped and cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. 08/17/2019 North Benton Street Suspicious Person Officers was dispatched for a suspicious person call. 08/18/2019 West Main Street Medical Assist / Assist County Officers were dispatched for a medical Sheriff assist. It was determined the subject was involved in a domestic violence incident at another location. Sheriff’s Deputies investigated. 08/18/2019 North Elida Street Retail Theft Officer was dispatched for a theft of motor fuel. 08/18/2019 North Pecatonica Violation of Order of Officer was dispatched for a reported Street Protection violation of an order of protection. It was later determined no violation occurred. 08/18/2019 North Elida Street Burglar Alarm Officers were dispatched for a burglar alarm. The location was found to be secure. 08/20/2019 McNair Road and Criminal Defacement Officer observed spray paint that had Westfield Road been applied to a stop sign. 08/21/2019 North Elida Street Child Custody Dispute Officers was dispatch for what was determined to be a civil matter. 08/21/2019 Kelly Road Assist County Sheriff Officer assisted the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police for a domestic violence related matter. 08/22/2019 Jessica Trail Disorderly Conduct Officer was dispatched for a disorderly subject at this location. Upon arrival, the subject had left the scene. 08/23/2019 East Runyard Street Aggravated DUI, operating an Pursuant to a crash investigation, uninsured motor vehicle, illegal Andrew Long 36 of Leaf River, IL was transport of alcohol, driving arrested for driving with a revoked while license revoked driver’s license, aggravated DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. 08/24/2019 David Drive Domestic Trouble Officer took information regarding a domestic violence related incident that occurred the previous evening. 08/24/2019 West Main Street Domestic Trouble Called reported an argument between intoxicated brothers at the residence. 08/25/2019 South Church Street Loud Music Complaint Officer received a complaint of loud music in the area. Upon arrival, no music could be heard. 08/25/2019 Winnebago Corners Driving While Revoked Pursuant to a traffic stop Ishmeal Akui 25 of Bellwood, IL was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license. 08/26/2019 North Elida Street Disorderly Conduct Officer was dispatched for a report of subjects fighting. Upon arrival no subjects were observed fighting. All subject left the area. 08/29/2019 South Elida Street Tampering with a Motor Officer was dispatched for a vandalism Vehicle to vehicle. 08/30/2019 East McNair Road Possession of Controlled Officer arrested a juvenile for being in Substance possession of a controlled substance. 08/30/2019 North Elida Street DUI Pursuant to a traffic stop, Lonny Davison 48 of Winnebago, IL was arrested for DUI and speeding. 08/31/2019 Falconer Road Ordinance Violation Officers were dispatched for individuals discharging firearms. All were advised that due to the location being inside the Village of Winnebago, discharging firearms here is not permitted. ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW .
