Hindustan Petroleurr Corporation Ltd. has proposed Grass Root Refinery (9 MMTPA) Cum Petro Chemical Complex (Rajasthan Refinery Project) at Tehsil Pachpadra, Distt. I3artner, Rajasthan. Since the project is enlisted under the schedule of EIA Notification 2006, therefore it requires prior Environmental Clearance from the competent authority. In this case the competent authority is Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. of India. As per provisions of EIA Notification, the Public hearings for the above project was conducted on dated 30.05.2014 at Yillage-Sambhra, Pachpadra Salt, 'l'ehsil- Pachpadra in District- Barmer.
