Dr. Karthik Krishnamurthy will be reassuming the Editor-in-Chief tasks for the coming issues since his presidential duties will be winding down. This year is going to see some major changes for the JAOCD. As of January 2018, we have stopped accepting new submissions. Our editorial coffers are overflowing with enough quality articles to pack two or three more editions, which should carry us through the end of 2018. When the tank finally runs dry, our beloved journal will undergo a fundamental transformation. You may ask yourself, “What exciting surprises do the dynamic minds on the editorial board have in store for us?” Some great ideas for the next incarnation of the journal are being tossed around, spearheaded by Dr. Krishnamurthy, and one has sparked real interest: a podcast. You may be unfamiliar with podcasting. Podcasts are simply audio files that are available to download and listen to at your own pace. Think of it as having DVR control for the lectures at our conferences — you can skip all the lengthy introductions and bad jokes and get right to the lecture!
