When you read this year’s book you will see we added a few things and tweaked a few things, but left a great deal alone. For example, we have again scheduled five long distance races this year with just a few changes. LD #1 is to St. Joe on Friday night. LD #2 is back to Chicago on Sunday. This year LD #3 is the Gene & Jane Zimmer Memorial Race. LD #4 is to Kenosha and is now officially named the Queen’s Cup Feeder to Kenosha. In an effort to make it a little easier for skippers and crew to get to the starting line after work, this year’s race will start 8:00 PM on Friday June 22nd, at SA7. For boats not continuing north to Milwaukee for the Queen’s Cup there will be a non-point race back to Chicago on Sunday. LD #5 is still the Skippers Club and will still be run on Verve Cup weekend. The Lady’s Skipper Series is back, as is the Harbor Challenge. MORF has been invited to participate in the entire Wednesday Night Beer
