It is a minute repeater or rattrapante, one of the most complex movements in horology. At 12 o’clock comes a sub dial for the minutes graduated up to 30 minutes. You will see a mark at 14 minutes. On the outer dial you have the minute graduation up to 30 minutes in black and 60 minutes in red. At six o’clock comes the brand and logo in black and Olympic in red. The timepiece comes with two stick hands, black and red. At 12 o’clock come three pushers, the center one with an Onion design. It is surrounded with a buckle to handle it. The watch has a cuvette to separate the case from the movement. It is a caliber Omega 1210 with 15 jewels numbered 1400434 The story of Omega started in 1848 with Louis Brandt when he opened a “Comptoir d’etablissement” a sales office for sub-contracted watch manufacture. In 1880, the brothers Louis Paul and Cesar Brandt set-up a modern watch production unit. In 1889, the company had a production of 100,000 units per year. The name of Omega only appeared in 1903.
